WTF is her powerlevel if he needs 10 years to catch up to her? At the rate he is going hes going to obviously be 6th realm at least in a year because of that tournament thingy. And its not like he doesnt know how fast he is growing, so why would he say 10 years if he didnt think she was stupidly strong?

I dunno, if a trivial ass goal like showing her up could take 10 years I'd guess a time skip is going to happen because certain training stages are long and boring. He could also just be overestimating her based on the past and where she should probably be in terms of cultivation and how quickly his cultivation should take if he wasn't the MC I suppose.
