@FriendFriendly yeah I guess that might be true, but it's all only stuff from the associated story, none of it is from the main story, its all just background info for the chapter that just occured (16) and that info wont show up anywhere else, since there shouldnt be anything related to it in the future of the main story, as every event had now been undone, so technically its not really spoiling anything about the main story.
Plus my hope is that this will help explain things and mollify people in terms of understandings that this is NOT an ntr story, which I think scares off many readers and causes some bad reviews. I'm hoping it will let people enjoy the story more without any unpleasantness cause by confusion from the associated stories.
Its also why I put the majority of the details I found on the associates here in the comments section for this specific chapter, as opposed to the main.
Also I totally agree about the girl. For someone so smart usually this near mistake is a major naive blunder. And why the fuck agree to go with the college guy so easily when the main character has been asking for ages and shes clearly somewhat into him. Fucking dumb as hell. Fortunately now its undone and things can go well. Still though, definitely a very forced crappy blip in an otherwise sweet story. Im just glad the blip is canonically wiped away now. * knocks on wood profusely

Thanks @bestboy Im glad it helped someone at least, that does put a smile on my face.
As for helping others, its unlikely that the majority will click on the spoiler tags, so this story will be misunderstood and judged here but thats just the way things are I guess. Im just glad things changed, the bad was undone, and everything in the story went well, and is on track to continue to do so, hopefully

Interesting, I didn't realise how spartan the spoiler guidelines were. Oh well, live and learn I guess.

My main concern now is that the college sleaze was a guy from her part time, and her last line in this chapter means shes gonna keep working that same job. So that would imply the college sleaze will still be around her at her work. Maybe it'll amount to nothing but I still find it disconcerting.

Well, that's another over-used, clichéd storytelling trope we have to put up with in too many series: female lead gets a parttime job and gets involved in some way or another with a 3rd wheel male co-worker who happens to take a liking to the female lead and does his best to make her mine whether she's interested or not. Since this incident was such an out-of-character action for this female lead, I do hope that the author actually reveals the who, how and why she decided to go on that date.

@FredFriendly yeah Its such a tired trope to have the coworker harass the Female Lead, and sometimes steal her to varying degreees for the sake of drama. Doesnt happen here really but in general it seems like theres a heavy culture of sexual harassment in asia, and an odd level of acceptance of very threatening & invasive behaviours. These characters really ought to distance themselves from that sort of guy when he shows up, and report or do something about those harassing behaviours. The main romance interest ought to be a bit more ballsy in general too, and help their partner stand up agains that sort of sleaziness.
I totally get where you're coming from with wanting an explanation; part of me just hopes the author leaves it at that and never touches it again, just moves on happily. I think in large part that whole little arc only exists to tie the prototype doujin into the main story.

to be frankly honest, i never thought this series was well written or had anything that was that special but i'm a sucker for the genre so i stuck around. making me have to suspend my disbelief doesn't help its case. and yeah i can tell it was meant to be vague on who the other person was and that it didn't directly point out who it was trying to encourage him but having their identity be vague but also very direct at the same time doesn't change much. it honestly does feel like it's meant to tie the other doujin with this manga which i can appreciate on some level but i think adding super natural elements makes it harder to relate to them, making this manga worse.
that is, of course, if it even is a tie-in which i don't doubt they'll stay vague on. without all that context from another doujin, the issues that people already brought up about her change in personality came into the forefront.

Haha I think nearly everything I said got edited under spoiler tags, but I explained how hard it is to find it there somewhere, and how I found what I did. Far as I can tell that associated story is basically only around in irl paper form and online thumbnails/samples; not easy to find electronically. I used the link in the description for this manga, in the related stories section > then searched for the title of the alternate story with the authors name (which happens to come in 3 different forms/variations of the same basic name for some reason) across various sites, then used google images to enlarge and view the thumbnails used for sampling from the sites its being sold on (not sure what medium its sold as (paper maybe?) but I wasnt gonna take the time to buy it and find out; Only cost like 7 bucks though) -- primarily Fakku -- Thankfully those were already translated, but not scanned anywhere that I could find; at least not in a quick 15 minute search.

Honestly though I wish the associated work didnt even exist - even if all bad events were only temporary, and undone so that they never happened in the first place, and even if things eventually worked out well anyway > it still sucks that they wouldve happened if things hadnt changed.
Most of all since the decisions of the prototype MCs dont fit with their actions and personalities in the main story.

they have a happily ever after in the associated work, even more so after the time travel -- and now (with things clarified and hinted time travel assuring only good events/routes) they should be on track in the main work to have an even happier happily ever after than both prior futures. Dont fail me author!

@Akikako Yes. And Yes (yes it was avoided). 100% on both.
That was older her though it (influencing time) was far more subtlety done here in the main story, it could even be interpreted as her spirit helping the MC change to be manlier - like she (FMC) always does for him - and helping him and her have their happily ever after sooner.
And yes the bad shit (though not so bad since it was only ever temporary) was definitely completely avoided and now literally never happened.
In fact basically the whole point of this tie-in chapter was to make sure it was clear that that stuff (from the side story/doujin) was undone and will now never happen (though of course them getting married and living happily ever after still will)
