Eh, not as good as the oneshot. The charm of the original was how genuinely offbeat Yagi and Madeline were and that they, unbelievably, somehow ended together up in the same place. The new characters (well character, really, Alice barely speaks) in this only serve to add rote romance manga conflict, making Strange Babies nothing particularly special.

Lmao Mado such a coward who cries after she loses (she wasn't even 'trying'). What a garbage ending. Other girl gets dumped without a single explanation just because someone had an epiphany of sorts. Should've stayed as a oneshot.
