Its cool that this chapter focused more on their relationships. A lot of manga that serve to advertise real life Restaurants will skimp on the character development in favor of just focusing on the food and having each chapter be the same sort of cookie cutter set up, so its cool that they’re putting in a bit of effort into making the characters more dynamic.

It was actually the first chapter, and Yuzu initiated the kiss haha. After the kiss, Momo tells herself that she is not falling in love with Yuzu, yet. And that's how this whole series unravels, with them falling for each other, Momo coming to terms with her feelings, and food tying them together haha

Man, the chicken skins do sound delicious. @Anomander That makes me think of one of the sketches in the food movie Tampopo where the main character talks to these homeless dudes who scavenge the leavings of Tokyo's top restaurants, so you got these scruffy guys with missing teeth holding forth about top cuisine. (It's an awesome movie)
