Ah I like the ML already, ruthless and cruel. In a way the FL could have possibly been attacked or suddenly went into a critical condition while those maids/servants were gone, so they shouldn’t have left the FL alone in the first place. From how I see it, the author is settling the ML character already for the next couple chapters to come. Also this from my humble opinion allows the author to open space in providing context and backstory to how his cruel personality formed.

I don't like MLs who use executions as punishment for trivial reasons. It's dumb, inefficient, and heartless. Just straight up power abuse. Ik he doesn't know any better but it's just unattractive, hopefully he'll change my mind. The art looks good.
