Sometimes I forgot how dark this manga can actually be after rereading. There's no doubt they'll be able to defeat X. Putting the fighting aside and X just seemed like a child who is scared/jealous that their closest sibling is being taken away by this stranger that they had fallen in love with and is throwing a tantrum. Albeit X's tantrum is more we-bonded-by-destroying-humanity-so-if-you're-not-with-me-imma-destroy-your-human-and-the-world.

I hope the manga does still continue even after they defeated X though. Maybe X will even explain the reason for the antinoids
