There is something wrong with Nonoka's mindset. Having a boyfriend simply so she can go to the illuminations with him is the end goal. It doesn't matter if she likes him. She doesn't even have to be in love with him, nor he with her. There is something just wrong that her mantra being "I want a boyfriend" instead of "I want to fall in love." Of course, this is a typical premise for this type of series: girl's primary goal when she starts high school is to get herself a boyfriend.

So far, this is a very realistic depiction of someone who is earnest but inexperienced and I love every moment of it.
