Is anyone else wondering how she's 18 and in her first year? It looks like a high school setting but isn't 18 too old for grade 10 (first year for typical Chinese high school)? Even if it's following the policy of being a year older that's often followed in Asia (where they include the time in the womb or calculate aging up when the new year comes rather than by exact birthdate), she'd still be 17. Usually kids would be 15-16 in grade 10.
