Yaoi like this always make me wonder whether to add the "sexual violence" tag or not.
...This rant brought to you by yet another "my apologies, it looked like you were enjoying it so I had thought jumping you with no warning was totally okay," yaoi manga, in other words absolutely nothing remarkable.
On the one hand, scenes that are objectively rape. On the other hand, everyone's smiling and taking the blatant consent violations in stride with only a minimal amount of "bad dog, no biscuit" as a response and somehow no one's terribly upset ...because it's yaoi, I guess.
But that's like a solid half of yaoi right there, or thereabouts, so should the tag be saved for series where it's remarkably creepy non-consent, by genre standards? Because the tag is useless for pointing out the notably-bad ones, if it's on just about literally every other series... :/
I don't know. There need to be more gradations of tags or something.
