I really dig the military equipment and vehicle design in this manga. The transport plane in this chapter sure does give off an alternative universe Me323 feeling. The general technical style also has a resemblance to Hayao Miyazaki's style from 35+ years ago like in Future Boy Conan and Nausicaa.

Yes! All the vehicles look like bulky plumpy metal plated hippos. It gives off a certain vibe.
