Holy shit, this is a fucking... not even that bad? Uh, what. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not great (that’s an understatement), but I was expecting a crime against humanity with a rating 1.5 stars lower than fucking Room 402 and multiple psychopathic child rape hentai manga (don’t ask how I know about these satanic texts, I guess I like torturing myself). This deserves a stock-standard 6 for stock-standard trash, and most definitely does not deserve to be 3 stars lower than a hentai where a girl is raped, drugged, amputated, thrown in a coffin, and left to starve while sexually abused (yes, this is a hentai that exists, fucking kill me)

@grimthoughts Not really a fair comparison. While the hentai you describe is criminal it's not going to get a bad rating simply due to how offensive it is. We have huge film series that are literally nothing but gore porn like saw and other trash. Reality sucks. This has a poor rating because it's inexcusably bad for what it is and in relation to other similar series. In no way shape or form does this deserve a rating as high as 6 which to me means "Slightly above average decent enough" (5 is average). https://mangadex.org/title/21469/isekai-wa-smartphone-to-tomo-ni is a 6, accurately rated as such too I'd say, it's a simple but enjoyable enough series. This series is not a 6 this series has a writing quality similar to a five year old.

I pretty mich forced myself to read until the current chapter 10. I should have just stopped after my impressions of ch1. it "getting better" is a fake impression made by ch1 being so god damn awfull that even the following chapters seem better in comparison. all in all it is still crap

Can't tell which is worse, the art, the story, or the characters.

Picked this up while high off my rocker, and every time it updates I regret it. Out of the literal hundreds of manga I'm reading, this is the only one I wish would be cancelled, so I can finally be put out of my misery.

In a sense, I am genuinely surprised at this manga.
The art, plot, and characters, all feel like a late 90s cliche harem anime. So much about the art, the "misunderstanding" plot with a beta MC....The staggering waste of time, and maintaining the plot by just adding more and more pointless characters for daddy-dickless to fawn over, just blasts 20 to 30 years back in time.
It's so hard to tersely put it into words, but it's such late-90s anime, that I really can't believe this even exists. It took every shitty practice of early anime, and improved nothing upon it. It's unbelievable.

this is ( no joke ) the Isekai manga with the worst rating on Mangadex.
Outside of the once that is unrated ( meaning they are 0.00 )

It is however "only" the 2nd worst rated manga on all of Mangadex.
I love my yandere neko girlfriend is slightly worse with 3.10.

But yeah this is some hot garbage, even if i have seen worse out there.....

Sometimes webcomics like this legit do get better over time tho.
A example of this is TwoKinds.
The art style and the storytelling have gotten significantly better over the long 16 years its been around.

This page is a pretty good example.
On just how much the art style have improved.

That said im sure i could dig up some more extreme examples if you want too....
I know One punch man is pretty extreme example and is much more famous

The art quality and design is very volatile. 1 panel looks well drawn the other is horrendous.
Characters are haphazardly jumping around like an obnoxious toxic shota or shomething. Theres no consistency in either story,art and personality.
The plot has potential of course, but not with this author,or at least not for a while.
But to be fair, the art is not the worst I've seen. Everything else is close tho... Hope the author got better since this. I'm sure this is just for gathering experiance.
