@TheLastKing360 There could have been more than one, no? I figured his grandfather was the last one and the dead one was the one before his grandpa. They said that he dodged the sword attacks. I thought the gate was the forest, while the tunnel was just part of the room, not the actual portal portal part.

That ending was a bit confused, did she told him the full legend so he knows that the guy he buried is the previous Greysior? And after knowing the legend I'm curious now as to how the door was locked with a chain from the other side.

The more likely the story is that not any/everyone from Earth can access this world by simply passing through that hall, it might be selective thing in a fate sorta way and the person who’s remains were in the hallway is the so “god” (most likely a normal and wealthy person from Japan) who is either current MC grandfather or MC is the reincarnation of that person I think.

this greysior is either the dead skeleton or his dad( I think the one that lend him the house). cuz his dad said he used to live there, so there might be a chance. cuz the time might work differently, and 30 years ( if I remember correctly) could be a long time in this world
