First song that came to mind was Avril Lavigne''s 'Girlfriend', even though Arisa would more likely be complaining about Takasugi's boyfriend, rather than Masakatsu's girlfriend.

@Justforthelulz I apperciated it but what I was curious because I always thought that song was more pop than rock, though it's possibly alternative and I'm just a dumbass.


At first I read it as "hey you! he you!" and thought it was Pink Floyd, which would have been much darker considering what that song is about in context of the album

I didn't really note the music genre, which wikipedia classifies as "pop punk / power pop", though at least one cited source considers it "punk rock-pop".

@Tamerlane @justforthelulz also note that wikipedia classifies pop punk as "a subgenre of punk rock" due to it combining characteristics of punk rock and power pop
the song itself does have emphasis on beats 2 and 4, technically classifying it as a "rock" beat drum backing (w/ the exception of the pre-chorus which has a halftime rock beat)
granted, the beat itself is probably called a "rock" beat due to it being a characteristic of early rock n roll
