You ignored the actual point I was making: the author has succumbed to the well-worn, clichéd storytelling trope of the friend(s) stalking the new couple on their first date. If you've never seen it before, then you haven't read as many romance series as I have.

You're the one who described her as a "lesbian stalker", which is a very misleading description that blatantly ignores how her interest in Koyuki is not being framed as romantic in nature.
