You are forgetting the big picture. The sacred family ruined the Xiao family financially and now are forcing them to give their talented daughter as a wife to the sacred family. Shen Fei has never cared about Ning's feelings and is instead already claiming her as his own. He's despicable enough. In the end he's a perfectly willing member of that mafia family, so he deserves to go down with the rest of his ilk.

Shen Fri considered his fiance as object not even a person, and said that if he can't have her, no one can, not to meantion the family is more than okay killing people they don't like, he actually did start shit with the Mc before even knowing his name solely because he was near her, and after finding out who he is basically wanted to kill him on school grounds regardless him being a grade ( silver ) and being 17yr compared to the Mc being 13 ( and bronze rank at the time ) so all in all, fucking jackass, that and what he did in the past life

@0takuDragonSlayer You are missing the point quite badly. Like a mile off the target. He knew the Sacred Family couldn't afford anything to happen right in front the Alchemy Association director. In fact, the Sacred Family elder himself stopped Shen Fei's attack, if you pay attention. Kind of difficult to hide behind your enemy. The real point was to aggravate the Sacred Family. When your opponent is pissed off, they are more likely to make mistakes. Like agree to bet with higher stakes.
