Tamashii no Futago

I'd say it's pretty dark (there's honestly quite a lot of trigger warnings so please do be careful about starting this) but also a cathartic healing process (well sort of) for the various characters. I was a little bit lost in the first volume (ch 1-7) but it tied up nicely with the remaining chapters.

found this hidden gem by doing a weird tag search combination, glad to say I'm one of the few who's read it, this series really needs more exposure. Even though it was dark and grusome at times, reading it still felt surreal, the themes are mature and it showcases some really gut wrenching things about a broken parent-child relationship and the helplessness the children feel, yet somehow we get a satisfying ending in quite a unique manner since it's not the MCs who obtain their happiness but it's the people they've come in contact with that do heal from their interactions.
solid 8/10, docked some points because at times the story telling felt a bit off and sometimes felt like a few panels more would've helped with continuity but each chapter is a story in of itself which gives it a good feel.
