After re reading, chapter 160 happens one week after the kiss so except if the author is not respecting the timeline (which wouldn’t surprise me that much) it’s unlikely. It’s really confusing.

What if the story is meant to be told non linearly - as in by design we're seeing segments of a relationship in three phases, that weave back and forth to construct a larger 'narrative' that can only be appreciated once it's done.
