Tamen de Gushi - Ch. 198

Fun fact humans are one of the species that can't say "If your head can get through, your body can get through".

Our skeletal structure is not flexible enough in most cases. Contortionists excepted. We tend to get stuck around the torso area.

That statement applies to Rats and Cats, among others.

Yeah, that head advice works if you're a mouse. Not so much if you're of H. sapiens.

As an idiot child of around 5 years old I did this. Took a hell of a lot of soap to get my head back out again, but at least my parents got an embarrassing story to tell for the rest of my life.

Honestly was expecting this to happen to Sun Jing as soon as I read the first few narration boxes.

WAY FUNNIER that it happened to Qiu Tong.

Yea, humans are not cats, just because your head fits, does not mean your body fits. Unless you can easily get your head between a gate, don't play that game. The only way you're getting between a gate is if you can slide through sideways. Humans have far broader shoulders and far more rigid skeletons than most animals. Try messing around with your shoulders and torso in front of a mirror, you'll realize just how much bigger they are than your head, the latter of which most people can do basically nothing to alter the size of. The only other similar animals off the top of my head are like chimpanzees and gorillas; IE bipedals sharing common ancestry. Even that isn't absolute considering the structure of some smaller monkeys out there. That head rule typically only applies to quadrupeds. Most commonly felines and rodents.

@Yautja
A person that isn't overly obese should be able to fit between bars sideways if their head can fit in (sideways too, so the nose and the back of the head are the closest to the bars and not the ears), however fitting the heat forward first like she did isn't a good indicator. Some people have significantly wider heads than others.

i have gotten my head stuck in a fence before too :””””””””)
