Wow, I normally don't mind stupid MCs, but this is taking it a bit far. You can just ignore magic power that strong. I wouldn't mind him being cautious about physical damage, but ignoring the fact that he can literally list mountains is insane. He could think of himself as a glass cannon and that would at least be partially believable.
