Tasogare Memorandum - Vol. 1 Ch. 1.3 - Kuroki-sensei's Face

That's a pretty interesting tidbit, though knowledge of common Japanese word origins have much less practical application in the English-speaking sphere, for obvious reasons.

Although it might be applicable for the actual Japanese terms, for those interested in real English etymology, neither who ist art thee nor who art thou have anything to do with the etymology of the word twilight. The English word is a combination of the Old English "twi," meaning half in this case, and Middle English "light." It was in use long before Shakespeare was born, as early as the 14th century.

Nice (or interesting) that teacher and student both read the same "kids" manga.
