In some ways this other world is better off than the one Naofumi & Co came from, but in other ways it feels like a worse place. It's kind of like the difference between a somewhat more free country, which is in a shambles, and on the other hand a more stable country, which is, unfortunately, under a tyrannical rule. Although Naofumi was treated poorly and plotted against for no fault of his own, he could still live as he wanted, just burdened by the false rumours and ill reputation, but in this other world Kizuna was thrown into the dimensional prison to live in total isolation, forever.
