I don't get it, why did risako lie on the phone in the end? She must very well know that she already told her that she was there when she was injured, so lying about it now seems a bit stupid for someone who was explained to be good at lying.
Is she trying to force the girl to call her out? To brag? Or to ease her conscience?

@feha When Kaoru was recovering in the hospital, Reiichi tried to bring up the topic, but she said she didn't remember anything about it. She was being genuine at first, but then the memories — foggy as they may be — came back. My guess is Reiichi told Risako they were good, and to lie to Kaoru about it.

On a side note, I really don't get all the hate Kaoru gets. She one, probably doesn't realize whatever feelings she has for Uta, and two, is clinging to the only sense of family she has left. Admitting to yourself that your spouse is cheating, less than two years after marrying, I might add, is an incredibly difficult thing. Even with hard proof, some people go to great lengths to deny it; when your partner is all you feel you have, it's hard to let that go.
