Also, the artist for manga really knows how to do facial expressions to conwey meannings, both the obvious Mia's total confusions and panics and her more subtle "girl not quite realize she's in love".

The line about Rafina knowing Mia wasn't behind the incidents says alot. Since this sort of stuff was used as proof of Mia's "true" personality and she knew it was all false, then it means that she probably realized Mia was setup with guillotine-chan and didn't give a damn.

Mia also inadvertently brings up a pretty good point about how all of this is Rafina's responsibility and Rafina is dumping administration of student incidents on foreign students in her country in her school when she's the one with the authority, power and responsibility to take care of it.

Still i need to say that as always that manga is awesome in reporting the novel an a visual plane. I have read the novel until its last chapter in japanase and need to say that the manga, even if not completely faithfully to the original plot, is able to reproduce perfectly the feeling and the emotion of the novel.
