Ooh I remember this. Been a while.
I like it but it reminds me of another manga with a very similar set up except the fake princess (saintess?) was a pretty girl.
In that manga the mc never revealed herself because she was just too damn shy. It was kinda painful to read since the entire story was about her going through a shit ton of trouble for no reason at all.
I like this so far but I fear it is going down the same path.

@plastic_sludge this series is essentially a successor to +a no tachiichi which is the same premise, i'm assuming you're talking about this?

@plastic_sludge the ending was abrupt and disappointing, yeah, I think it might've been axed (not sure) which is why it was cut like thatoriginally. it had a lot of potential, I agree. I have no idea if the author got to flesh out the story more in this series but I'm not hopeful considering this series is only 10 ch (1 vol). no clue why it was rewritten/remade, and it didn't even get any longer

plus no mivaI don't care if he does, like, what the fuck is wrong with the mangaka? Does he/she want to make the protagonist to live in the shadows of someone who doesn't deserve the credit they steal all over again?
Thing is, the premise of the prequel was really similar to this one and the series had the protagonist not get credit(or never revealed herself as the princess?) for her feats till the very end.

I think the author was planning to make mc slowly overcome her weakness but it was taking so long the ratings went down and they had to settle for an unsatisfying ending.
I mean, sure, it hammers down the message but at what cost?
Ive never felt so much salt with work of fiction. Guess that makes it kind of oustanding, haha.

Anyway I'm just enjoying everything here because of the lighter atmosphere in this sequel.
& I like 'Sadisma's' character design, especially the ribbon-like ears lol.They look like his weakness but nobody takes advantage of that because he's too powerful.
