I took that "Simping for gals" title, as the translators' joke about the manga. In reality, there's nothing about the MC which makes him "simp" over the girl...If anything, the girl simps over the guy.
My personal definition for "simp" is being exceedingly generous and nice with the other sex. Don't see much of that here.
