That makes it very hard to take seriously. If it was tagged comedy, that would be OK, but it isn't.
So I also don't understand the change, other than being easier to draw?

If this is a good translation, the original dialog is rather simple. At least, that's the case with Chapter 7, which just posted.

This manga might be decent if only they didn't condense the story soo much. The story is moving along too fast and as a result the readers can't connect with the characters. Think back on the time when blue hair was teaching the kid how to cultivate...usually in a well thoughtout story characters don't just TEACH these things willingly and that fast. There needs to be bonding or some kind of relationship that shared for them to trust one another-not asking for 2-6 chapters just on this but atleast show some effort to do this. This manga won't be on my priority list thats for sure.
