Tenohira Kaitaku Mura de Isekai Kenkokuki: Fueteku Yome-tachi to Nonbiri Mujintou Life - Vol. 1 Ch. 4 - First Friend!!

So Master = aruji/goshujin or Master = Shishou? Depending on which is used she might just not be a slave you know. Might also use it for reverence purposes..

@Rheeve This particular "master" felt like it might rather be the "husband" one? (Still over-eager, but would be more understandable still)

Wait.. His last name is Husqvarna? Really? For those that don't know, that's the name of a company that makes lawnmowers, chainsaws and everything else for gardens/forests. Really odd last name to choose, honestly.

Husqvarna/Huskvarna is a Swedish city. The company that makes outdoors power tools is named after the city. It's basically a double reference, chosen since he's a farmer.

Why does he have to be her master? Why couldn’t they just be friends like normal? Dammit Japan

@Flavor25 It's a case of lost in translation. "Master" in Japanese is goshujinsama, written ご主人様; if you drop the 様, sama, you get just goshujin, which means "husband".

@Vincentius
Thanks for this explanation. It was weird jumping into it as she did, Master-Slave relationship. It feels less weird now, but still. Her standard is kind of low - not dead and not afraid. In another case, living without anyone else for who knows how long would lower standards for anyone.

@AbyssalMonkey Wait wait wait. -desu = it is. Kenshin Homura is constantly adding "that it is" or "that it does" to the end of his sentences in the English dub. is he actually using -desu in the Japanese?

Aww~ Ain't that cute. I bet that as they grow older, her knockers are gonna inflate like balloons, because that's usually how it goes in manga-
