@BoredTears yes please, I would like to have both a waifu and a daughteru Abyss to make a complete family package. That said, Abyss IS an artificial waifu, so if her lab of origin is infact on this island it's not impossible.

I went back to the first chapter, and I noticed two things:

A) the foxgirl was part of the group there, so is he going to grow an entire harem?

B) the translation for that chapter says it was a barren island '3 months ago', but given that ALMOST AN ENTIRE YEAR just passed by this chapter, they probably meant 3 years ago?

@kantam Page 24(?) says 髪の毛 which means "hair".

@sdarkpaladin not anymore since the level up on previous chapter.
Now he can bring living beings and he did bring Abyss in. It's just that there's no mana on Tenohira's air so Abyss, who lives off of mana by breathing it in (found out in this chapter), literally stopped functioning much like us human if we breathe in no oxygen content in the air.

I guess maybe by leveling up more there will be mana at some point in the village because I think that's what was implied on the 1st chapter.

@Kegaten Yeah, I imagine the more he levels it it will gain mana, size and eventually fuze to the real world in a way where maybe even the citizens can travel back and forth freely, mc and abyss can live in his world without time limit and possibly others can travel in with his permission without the need to be holding on to him. Probably not that far, but definitely mana will develop

Also, I wonder why translators are using the word "Yup". I know that Google Translate likes to use this word, but I don't actually hear this word in normal everyday use, except in movies and TV shows where characters are portrayed as unintelligent. Or am I just old and the word has now become popular to use?
