I mean all in all it's not much of a loss since said goblin will die soon anyway. I am annoyed that this damn old man despite cheating and lying to the MC yet again makes plans to kill him because I guess he doesn't like someone craftier than him? That being said that said dagger is stupid as hell for a goblin killer given their short stature compared to the average human height. You would be at a disadvantage the instant you got close enough to slash or stab them and it's suppose to be for killing a skill heavy goblin? He wants her die for sure at this point. Might just be that the old man is a human supremacist or something. Just looking for any reason to slaughter all the goblins/monsters.

He's not human supremacist, just staying on the side of caution.

Considering how abnormal Akira already is + that 'giving skill' thing, he will be a major threat if he ever turn on humans.
There's also precedence of super OP goblin before that the humans are wary enough to make goblin slayer here (btw there's 2 other -slayer weapons, Dragon and Demon)

Also, that dagger actually kill on touch, in fact Akira instinctively felt [Death] from it so strong that he couldn't even grab it.
