I would go with wind!
--> Use wind magic to gather the fumes from the fire burning in the surroundings and then encase the spider in those fumes.
If the spider tries to move, simply move the "cage" of fumes alongside it.
That way it will suffocate and the more fire it creates the more fumes you have to suffocate it.

Come on, even if his power is not the same because of a seal, there's also a spirit, all powerful being nobody can tame, two special soldiers and the prodigy child, this first fight should be a walk in the park, otherwise how did humanity survive so long? The series is an average isekai but the degree of bullshit is off the charts, surely this is just to introduce the lost or never used light attribute that only Phil can use. . .
