It's not like the pacing wasn't inconsistent in general, but Even with a sequel this didn't feel like a proper cut off. More volume ending than season ending.

Such a weird way to end the manga, really not digging it. Also I preferred him just fucking around all the time instead of school. You know he is going to get swept up in some bs about nobles and then have to prove he is a prince or something.
