Is the prevalence of tentacle stuff an early exposure thing? Like how people become foot fetishists because of some sexy foot-related stuff they've seen earlier on in life? It's the only way it would make sense for the sheer amount of tentacle content wedged into non-H manga pretty much the same way Tarantino has to wedge in foot stuff in his movies, because Japan was dishing out a bunch of tentacle porn due to its dumb censorship laws right when these mangaka were at an impressionable age. It seems way too niche a kink to be popping up as much and as disruptively as it does otherwise.
