This is so frustrating to read because the MC is such a bloody giant idiot. Though I have to commend the author for being able to consistently write a character who's so moronic. It's not easy because he feels so naturally cretinous. It doesn't feel like an attribute haphazardly slapped on a character for transient plot purposes.
