Ugh, this last page seems so incredibly forced...
Even the whole chapter and situation as a whole.
"No lodging so here they go save the prince and princess sold as slaves" which is incredibly convenient for Fran and the context.
Boom badaboom, surprise assassin right around the corner exactly at that time, what would this poor assassin had done if Fran did not save them from the slavers, poor assassin would have invaded the castle for nothing !

... please, come on, you've shown us better than this, this is really low effort. Saving the slaves is one thing, this is definitely in character and I hoped nothing too big would come out of it, but this is way too easy at this point.
It's not like I'm expecting a lot of this series story-wise, but so far it managed decently, these last two chapters however are really disappointing, I hope we'll skip this soon enough and not drag it on...
