Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken - Vol. 12 Ch. 55 - The Natural Enemy of Monsters

can't really blame hinata though
if someone you deeply respect suddenly died and now an unknown monster is taking her form, can you stay calm and listen to it?

Looking at the light novel volume listings, this chapter shares a name with the end of volume 4, so would it actually be faster to just wait for the next LN volume to release in a week or so and read that instead?

Now here's a question, what makes a monster? appearance? well shit man, those mofukas not letting the followers think freely. She as good as brain dead at this point.

Just tell him that you're Japanese. Maybe something could come out of it.
Also, this saint is a little shit that simply won't listen. I hope there's a good beating coming up.

@Shiroi_Kage Sadly if someone serves the church in any manga or anime there's no way for them to listen to reason they've been mentally and physically abused to the point the church word is law.

Finally the good stuff starts next chapter! Also don't like the change they made for this fight, the WN did a much better job of showing how dire the situation was for Rimuru.

she already unstable from start and her thought is also guided by ***** so yeah can't blame her

@Anitvenomz

The only ones that aren't are sometimes the ones in charge who are pragmatic (sometimes they're more fanatical than the others, but hey) and those idealistic members who don't have any real authority and thus not corrupted by it

@thehawk2210 hinata isnt a mary sue, nor is she "pulled out of their ass" because she was already established in earlier chapters.

rimuru also isnt all that strong atm in the grand scheme of things, and we've already been introduced to a fair few characters in the manga itself that are still stronger than him.
it isnt until the end of this arc that he jumps to the top of the human scale of power, but still remains in the mid to low scale of power from the demon lord perspective.

however its more accurate to say rimuru got worf'd here, since the real reason he lost is that he was trapped in a barrier that cuts off access to many of his skills, his allies, and slows him down, while hinata herself held a relic weapon that ignores his defence (his insane resistances) and threatens an immediate death of the soul.
though she is categorically stronger than him in a number of ways, due to having a several decade long headstart on him with a very similar skill to gluttony

And at this moment, the villain haven't realized that they fucked up.
let's just hope that the manga won't drag the arc for too long.

Lol, the human king fucked up by attacking his country. I hope after they fight out the invasion, Rim shows up at the city gates with two demon lords, his people, and the dwarve's army. Walk through the city while Milim one-shots Hinata. Then, rip the king and the priest from their hiding place and beat the crap out of them in front of their people.

I wonder how the anime is going to do this part? The anime ended with Hinata standing behind a tree, watching Rim leave via shadow. The king and pope didn't show up. I hope they're not going skip it. They could easily fix it by having Rim get pulled from his tp and then have Hinata attacks him.
