@Argolok Could be a set up for a spin off again like what they did earlier in the series. Or it could just be something the author wanted to add but didn't work in the flow of the novel. I don't know how closely the manga team works with the author so I could be wrong on that though
@maisonaustyn Based on some of the afterwords by the mangaka and author that are at the end of the manga volumes (as well as based on the author writing a Veldora's Slime Observation Journal novel-like segments at the end of each manga volume), it does seem as though the author is involved with the manga to a certain extent.
(He was also involved in some parts of the anime, such as the Shizue and Diablo/Noir side-story, which is actually something that was referenced in LN vol 12 by Diablo, but that we hadn't got to see ourselves before that episode in the anime.)
What a rollercoaster. First happy there is a new chapter Tensura out to being disappointed it's a .5 to being happy that it's actually good and not just an omake to being elated there IS another chapter out.
@democarplus, yep @LunaDW, nothing merciless about taking out people that knew what they had signed on for. In fact the people that drew first blood should have attained the title themselves.
@Mimcoa This is an extra chapter and a necessary one. The soldier didn’t mean that the god he met is a child (or childish) but more like his(god) form (which the soldier saw) was that of a child. He didn’t mock this god, instead he marvels at his beautiful child appearance.
