I did not understand the description until I read the manga. And then I was glad the description was there since it was less confusing combining the two. xD

MC boy dies and reincarnates to a different world of as a different looking girl. Friend in previous world that is a girl is somehow in this reincarnate world. Friend is instead now a boy (looks the same) that sees MC as an enemy (doesn't recognize MC). MC recognizes friend. MC is on the demon lord side. Girl is on the hero side.

I'm not sure if this is clearer or not. Haha.

But i really got into the story, watched the other chapter in raw and got really curious of why that side is evil, and if the MC will stay on that side?
Can't wait for the next translated chapters.

Got so into it, that i even used google lens on cellphone to translate the dialogue, but most of the times it didn't make sense

I don't think this is double genderswap.

I think the childhood friend was saying goodbye to MC because she was returning to be a hero in her original world and would never see him again.

So the description should look more like this.

The MC's childhood friend (♀) suddenly shows up to say goodbye to the MC (♂) after vanishing for weeks.
Childhood friend (♀) gets attacked by a living weapon (♀), but the MC (♂) gets in the way and dies.
The MC (♂) is then reincarnated in another world as the living weapon (♂->♀) that just killed him created by the demon lord, while his childhood friend (♀) suddenly shows up as a hero vowing to fight the demons.
