I havent begun first chapter yet, and I could tell the male lead is going to be hell of an annoying fucker. Look, people loves socially awkward characters. Characters who have serious issues with talking to people. Komi-san is a supreme example. But when your awkwardness is overcame with overwhelming need to impress, it is going to be annoying. Fast. I hope this wont be an issue as I read on.
