definitely pairs well with reading Komi-san.....another manga daughter found
I love dragons, so Dragon girls are the best..... but the whole idiotic MC making gadgets and on some quest to out do her jsut turns me off way too much. I would of wanted something more heart warming. Like that lizard girl one.

Unique among the "MC and heroine" stories, but that doesn't automatically make it good.
The generic trope is MC and heroine interact causing massive diabetes/heartburns. MC tends to be self insert, but not always. This formula is tried and true to be incredibly successful, because, I mean, who doesn't like seeing the heroine and protagonist get all red after that really cute thing right? Komi-san. for it's rather rambunctious cast of characters, also follows these tropes, but is capable of blending comedy in due to its setting.
This one has a very shounen feel to it, and not in the Romcom way. The MCs personality and capabilities feels like something you'd get from black clover or one piece. Very quirky. While I like the MC, the blend of "shounen-protagonist" and "diabetes-inducing heroine" can feel... odd. Granted, I got all this from literally the one chapter available as of the time I write this.
Personally want to read more.

the mc is making gadgets, i thought he was intelligent but he's a pure idiot. the diabetes-inducing heroine and idiotic-quirky protagonist doesn't sit with me fine at all, it's a horrible blend. also the protagonist's personality doesn't sit with me right at all, like, he's been hospitalized for years yet he doesn't feel any anxiety going to school or something like that, an optimistic guy. dropping this
