That Inferior Knight, Lv. 999 - Vol. 1 Ch. 1.6 - That Boy, The Strongest Yet Oblivious to the World (6)

Yeesh. Everyone's bashing the story as if it's done terrible things.

The parents lack common sense, but as far as manga parents go, it's not so bad. They're still caring, it's just that they're stupid.
Time will tell where this story goes.

Regarding the manga being cut up a bunch...well, there's nothing that can be done about that, right? It's being released in these chunks by the Raw sights as far as I'm aware, so the translators are just tackling it as it comes out.

If you'd rather read the whole story, just wait until they're done before you start. It took, like, 10 days.

Look at that, a solid reason for the MC’s lack of common sense. Damn doting parents!!! I approve

Just imagine you would have had no friends and your parents would always find fault in whatever you do, just to bait you back before drop it.There is no compass, nothing you "are" really good at, that really comforts or motivates you. I'm surprised he actually wants to be a knight...that he dares to dream. And then that isolation....

Getting depressed should have been a must....suicide an "option" for him.

The next random evil person abusing him, by faking to be a good person, is a given.

Gosh....that's some horrible upbringing there...all for his best, because, who knows? He might encounter Unicron around the next corner!

wow, such a weakling raised by two ordinary seniors. Ordinary 16 year olds are easily two times stronger than him! How dare he have the gall to venture into a dangerous ordinary town alone!

I don't know if someone mention before but this really reminds me of kenja no mago + that story where mc from village of heroes and he being the weakest there trying to join the army lol

If such a character becomes a trend, perhaps there will be a manga about an extremely oblivious but powerful Maou who's actually not evil but is destroying the world, or there's a series like that existing already?

@Rayster There is a similar one called Tatoeba where the weakest one of a village went to tye capital to be a knight. The weakest of the heroes village. He is oblivious to the fact he is strong as he believed the other people are just being kind.

I have this weird feeling he's gonna end as a doormat for some rude ho.

@Rayster there is ! But not in manga, if you curious the novel called “Tilea’s worries” cover that kind of synopsis.
In short she is chuunibyou that reincarnated as big sister of REAL demon general, unknowingly to herself she got this absurd saitama power when she is reincarnated. One day she finally witness her sister “awaken” as demon general but she mistaken it as chuuni phase, not wanting to repeat her failure as chuuni in her past life she do whatever she can to rehabilitate her sister, ..... only to become demon god in the new world.

That first .1 chapter had me hooked, interesting as all hell. Now we finish ch 1 and it is honestly beyond stupid. I get why the parents want their child to be safe, not arrogant etc, but you could have fetched that guy 11 years earlier to teach him about everything. I do not remember the name of it but the 500 year old sage that looks 17 that is going to get married, that is how you do an OP clueless MC, you don't do the shit you get with that "Last town of heroes" kid that moves to the city. Such a shame.

@Jeirien , ohh I know that one, I'm following that series too the characters are very cheerful and adorable it's a pretty fun read~

@Kazedoom , Thanks for the recommendation! I think I've come across that title somewhere before but never got into it. It sounds like it could be funny with your provided description, hopefully it'll be adapted into manga soon too~

That goddess made a mistake, these idiots should never have had kids.
