The beginning of the chapter felt like the typical longing for a childhood love but the end of the chapter was entertaining enough for me to consider reading more.

I mean you got a guy running around in a cockroach suit about to get a beat down from 2 timing and decides to pick the MC as his gf as if that would make things somehow better. I gotta see how that turns out now.

I don't know if anyone cares about this but for the girls' heights what's listed is a little off. Lin Yin at 155cm would be 5'1 not 5' and Yalan at 172 cm is 5'7 (close to 5'8) rather than 5'6. Not a big deal at all but just something I noticed.

We're saying the same just using different measurements LOL, but nevermind me if I sounded like I was being too nitpicky. I only noticed it because I get curious about heights and such but no big deal. Just happy to have the chapters, thank-you :)

Is that so? The Chinese readers actually shipped her with the guy who surname is Lin, the actual ml of the manhua. Also the manhua is scheduled to have season 2 in the future.

I don't know. There were some scenes with those two together before it was revealed that Xing Yu was a scum who hide the fact that he has a girlfriend, despite promising to be together with Lin Yin before. Lin Fan seemed to be related to that scum's girlfriend in a way. Maybe her brother? The Chinese readers hate that scum Xing Yu though, hence why they rooted for Lin Fan.

Maybe he had circumstances that forced him into having a relationship with the other female. I rewatched the final chapters and seems he wanted to be with the main girl but if it's true that he had no reason to keep his relationships secret and theres nothing wrong with his girlfriend then that's pretty shitty of him and he doesn't deserve her.

Ah, did you read the raws too? Doesn't seem like she forced him to be with her. Maybe he forgot about Lin Yin or the promise or thought that there was no need to fulfil a childhood promise, and went and be with another girl instead. If he really wanted to be with Lin Yin then he needed to break up with his girlfriend. But the manhua's main couple seemed to be Lin Fan x Lin Yin, so there is no hope for Xing Yu x Lin Yin. Ah well, that guy is a scum after all so he doesn't deserve Lin Yin.
