The summary gives it away. Says she falls in love with the king and ostensibly goes into attack mode to try to win. I wonder what kind of guy could possibly provoke that kind of response out of a girl like Feria.

If this were an H-manga, I'd say the king *ahem* bestowed his royal favor and blew her mind but it's not, so that's not an option.

For a story centered around women trying to get married to a powerful man, I appreciate how independent and self-sufficient our MC is. Nothing gets her down.
She may not be exactly regal, but the subjects cherish her and she brings them peace and peace of mind. Once again, sounds like a good queen to me.

I'm surprised the other consorts aren't on better behavior, especially since it sounds like the king was there when the fight happened. Tentatively, this is a trial period in which their worth is judged.

On the flip side...is it really okay to just deprive her of meals for such petty reasons? If I were an administrator or the king, these kind of power games that undermine the point of the whole project would piss me off.

P.S. The boiled potatoes are delicious.

@lume They aren't allowed to leave at all until the first visit. "You won't be able to leave this place for at least 3 months" which is when she'd get the first visit from the King. After they can likely ask for permission to go out for short periods.
