@lovolo the purple haired woman is the head of a japanese guild who fought the climber and was seemingly killed by him but had an item that revived her and is also the one who has a skill to awaken/upgrade magic which is why our mc wanted to see her in the first place, but the climber conveniently awakened his mana

it seems there is a tower, where each floor is a whole planet/world (earth being 9th from 12), managed by a system (we shortly saw some guys discussing the awakening of our guardian mc, but with no further info, who or what exactly they are), each floor has a guardian (like our mc) and climbers from who knows where are coming and want to destroy the floors (worlds) for an unknown purpose (considering this samurai guy was intelligent and not some kind of cruel maniac, the climbers have probably a good reason for their doing) but all in all we have about the some amount of info as the mc - about nothing lolz

@MALIEVRA I would love to see how the tower system looks in the author's head. The invaders climb up but unless our planet has finally gone flat earth, it doesn't really fit in a tower's floor plan. I think the different world each floor is likely but then there would be no reason for the climbing out of the ground. Maybe the portal locations are inaccurate so they open within the earth to keep climbers from appearing miles above the ground and going splat.

Edit: Where do you buy this comic? I don't mind pitching in for raws but it would be cool if others could support the author as well.

I can understand about wanting to avoid embarrassing past but considering how “devoted” his apprentice is, him sending the message “don’t look for me” will be interpreted by her as “you are not worthy to see me yet so do better.” Thus she will likely be more aggressive with expanding the guild. I wonder how she compares in strength to other climbers (she should be among the strongest S rank but how does that compare to climbers and MC)?

Also, I wonder what the story is about the “true tower“ (the one where earth is apparently the 9th floor)? What I mean by that is who are the beings climbing it? Why are they climbing it (is there a reward and if so what?)? Do they even have a choice? Lore behind it is interesting to find out
