@churrystar It might be representative of the plant’s age rather than what grows first. A plant at it’s youngest is only roots, then it grows leaves as it’s older, then becomes a flower when it has matured.

I've seen manhwas that have 'magic' in their world but it's never really shown much. I'm pleasantly surprised to see
magic items, creatures, spells, etc even if it's expected (because the title says archmage lol). It helps build the world!

@Umbrecola LOL, omg. Didn't know that since I only read the first book, but that's funny (and selfish Howl but well... that would be in character for him). I (and the original commenter) meant only Movie!Howl, how his design in the movie resembles the MC's dad's design, the pirate(?) shirt and blazer, and the dark long-ish hairstyle.
