The Archmage's Daughter

this is turning to be WHO MADE ME A PRINCESS THE CUTENESS AND THE DEATH GLARE OF THEIR FATHERS LOL SO FAR IM LOVING IT NOW

Aha.... this chapter's scene look familiar... oh! It's same like ''who made me a princess'' chapter 21 😂

Take "The Monster Duchess and Contract Princess" and add "Who Made Me a Princess"

Quick summary.

I'm really gettin the feeling that there's a missing chapter between chapter 5 and 6

Lamo ! His daddy mode is real on here and there . She complimented the butler ? 10 steps back. A "boy" close to her age? Stay away 😂😂😂!!

This is nice and all but i wish the author could take their time and try to develop the character more.. It seems so rush and somehow her father became protective just after not more than 10 words exchange.... Well... Hope its getting better

This is based on my own personal interpretation of the story thus far, but I don't agree with the feeling that "the story is progressing too fast/poorly because he suddenly became protective of her". More specifically, that his treatment of her really changed at all.
I'm going to spoiler this just in case, since I dont really know how detailed is too detailed.

To me, it seems more of that he has a naturally cold disposition, and doesn't really know how to act like a parent. This is evidenced in the fact that he gifts his daughter something dangerous (presumably, based on how the residence manager reacted), and doesn't know he should greet her, not understand why. It would also help explain why he hasn't checked up on her at all while she was living with the Cyclamen family, not to mention that it is entirely possible that they have been sending false reports of her situation to him.

Speaking of, based on his sudden appearence with a dead body (if it came with him or it was someone he killed in the residence I don't know), the manager's mention of reminding him many times not to teleport in, that there is a barrier around the place, the managers lack of reaction to the body, and her father's initial reaction to her presence before he knew who it was, implies that he often gone, and there is a lot of danger that surrounds him and his house. Considering these, along with the implication that her mother passed away not long after her birth, I can also very easily understand why he would have her live with the Cyclamens.

He even shows the same protectiveness of her when the manager shows up and starts fussing over her. He notices his ears perk up, and, irritated with him, throws a rock at him and changes the subject.

The way Rykell looks reminds me of Howl. Anyway, I'm interested in seeing how the story will develop, especially since she had told them that she was only going to stay with them for a while.

Lols Is it just me or as soon as they open the door I feel like "A new mission has arrived" XD

It's okayish, it just feels a bit too much like "Who made me a princess" but subpar. It feels like we were dropped into the middle of the story (yet we know nothing) and then you realize that it has barely begun.
It bothers me that noone has questioned why she is there (why wasn't there even a maid escorting her and how she found out about her father). The father seems to be feared, but not liked and as usual we know very little about the girl's mother.

@skalfd84 i love how you delivered it,..
And yes, what you said is right,..
Even though her father is a lil clueless about parenting, I still love how he accepted her and did not wonder (and tht part where he patted her on the head for cleaning up) it's making me tear up
,..and rn I'm more concerned if maybe someday, she'll have to go back to that Cyclamen family/ tht s*itty family

this is a less charming version of "moster duchess and the contract princess"
