I'm pretty sure they're from the vampire weapon (that was used to stab the girl) dissipating, or at least that's what everyone nearby would think.

@Jophnny1023 @okasamyn at the rate the artist is changing the story. I doubt what we'll have at that point will resemble the WN at all, that or there'll be so many plot holes that it all falls apart
