@ASSLER he was always kind of an asshole, even in his youth. He used his martial arts to bully his bullies when he should have instead just defended himself. He entered the Shinmungjepe tournament and humiliated everyone, disturbing the delicate balance of the murim, in defense of a mentor who literally committed mass-murder and is being imprisoned for life.

Yeah, the alliance chief was being a huge asshole by lying to him, but Chunwoo went way too fucking far with his vengeance and did something no other mentor in the world would ever think to do. He crippled his own disciple. What a bastard.

I lost all respect for him at the end of part 1.
