Last chapter the Emperor was talking bullshit like, “She needs to have a just heart. I’ll give her happy memories so she’ll open up to me.” And then proceeds to make their wedding day the anniversary of her parents death and the day she was forced into the palace. Big brain moves coming all around.

Also deck the fuck out of kayn please. I wouldn’t even mind if it’s the emperor who does it, just someone please beat tf out him. Nothing so far has endeared him to the audience.
