As much as I enjoyed the ride, you just don't throw as many romance flags between Munakata and Imibe and then just drop it. Never mind the foreshadowings of marriage and love, dude just straight up lied through his teeth about being infertile to comfort Kana, and their ending is just kinda hanging out before saying farewell ? Bull-fucking-shit.

Honestly, Yukinobu-sensei could have just left this hanging and I would not even mind waiting years for him to revisit this series again since I enjoy the episodic nature of it, but this hard-nosed ending is so final!
