The Catchphrase Is "Particularly" - Oneshot

Either it doesnt fit the convos in jp too, or the translation doesnt particularly catch the meaning.

That doesn't make sense. "Particularly" isn't as *particularly* ubiquitous as that.

Is this one of those things that doesn't have an exact equivalent in English?

i somehow didnt get the story, anyone might give me a quick explaination? By the way how the speech balloons are positioned is also really confusing lol

I dunno, i thought it was like those middle schooler disease (chunni or something) and she is trying to make "particularly"- which likely has a way if saying it in Japanese that feels less like a mouthful- her catchphrase

it'll be better to translate particulary to "Not really"

Anyway the gist of the story is the boy like to say "not really" that it became like his catchphrase

On page 3 the girl tried to imitate him saying "not really"

the boy then rant about his friend said that he said "not really" too much

the boy then realized, and asked if the girl is disgusted(or more like taken aback) by his rant

then the girl said "no-not really"

whatever

@tianpeng
It's about the boy suddenly using "particularly" and then realising subconsciously got it from her

I don't know what else could be translated from 「特には」
